Springtime in the Air

We have a bush in the back of the yard that did not grow these little bitty flowers last year, but this year, it's rife with yellow blooms. They almost look like roses, and even smell like them, but we are not sure what they are:

The pear tree we originally noticed is already sprouting leaves and losing the flowers:


Here are the other hyacinths that have bloomed (yellow instead of violet):


We did some purchasing this weekend at Home Depot. The only things that have been planted are the herbs and vegetables. Obviously as soon as we have planted the lilies that we bought, pictures will be shared!
