Good Times and Good Cheer

We held the 2nd annual Vaughn holiday party on Friday night. This year I was more industrious in that I made everything (with Hank's help) instead of purchasing pre-made stuff (like last year's samosas and Thai fried rice).

Our menu:

• Chex mix (homemade!)
• cheese and crackers
  
• queso and chips
• olives
• prosciutto and melon
• pesto stuffed eggs
• sausage balls
• stuffed mushrooms
  
• mini egg rolls (w/ soy sesame dipping sauce)
  
• mini beef Wellingtons
• pan fried samosas (w/ honey ginger dipping sauce)
  
• cookie press cookies in vanilla and almond
• peppermint bark
• chocolate covered strawberries

As you can imagine, I had a somewhat "stressful" week preparing for this.

We had a good turnout, considering the rain, and all had a good night.
